District Court Division

The District Court Division on the State’s Attorney’s Office prosecutes over 7,000 criminal and traffic cases a year. The prosecutors handle assaults, thefts, disorderly conduct, drunk driving, violations of protective orders, and other misdemeanor offenses. In addition, the District Court Division prosecutes all traffic offenses, including driving on a suspended license, driving without a license, and traffic tickets.
