Volunteering
Adult Volunteers
The AARC's amazing volunteers provide the support that we need to keep our animals happy and our shelter humming. Never afraid to roll up their sleeves and tackle a new task, our dedicated volunteers pitch in when and where they are needed most, whether it is assisting with high-profile events or folding the mountains of laundry generated every day. Every task is important, and we sincerely appreciate every volunteer who helps us make a difference at the AARC and in our community!
Minor Volunteers
Does your child love animals? Want to introduce your kids to the world of animal welfare? Sign them up to become an AARC volunteer. Volunteering is a great way to spend time with the animals at our resource center and make a difference in their lives. When supervised by a parent or guardian, kids can volunteer to help with cleaning, walking, and caring for the animals. Kids under 18 years of age must be always accompanied by an adult while volunteering. One adult can supervise two minors.
