Homelessness Prevention Partnership
The Human Services Division collaborates with agencies that provide services to alleviate poverty and homelessness by creating a system of care for local individuals and families. Human Services staff serves as a liaison to federal, state and local grantors and monitors associated programs and services. The Division serves as the required county government point of contact for Community Development Block Grant funding. Human Services Division staff is actively engaged in the local Homelessness Prevention Board, regional Local Homeless Coalition, and statewide Balance of State Continuum of Care Committee. The Human Services Division represents the county government as a partnering agency in the WARM homelessness prevention effort and provides transportation for the program.
